Rebmann -2- Febru,iry 2, 1995 <br />On pages two (2) and three (3) of your letter you state that waste rock on site contains levels <br />of radium similar to or is likely no greater than the naturally-occurring levels present in <br />outcrops in the area. Provide data to substantiate this claim. <br />On page thrrz (3) of your letter you state minor seepage of water is first encountered at <br />approximately the 500-foot level, and no pumping is required to keep the mine dry. If you <br />can substantiate this information it will help evaluate any potential impact to groundwater. <br />On page four (4) of your letter you state the waste rock which exists on site poses no threat <br />to human health, property, or the environment. Provide documentation as to concr:ntrations <br />(range) of radioactivity, etc. at the site.
