As
discussed, this area was permitted for mining in Technical Revision
No. 14-East Wadge Extension Area (approved July 22, 1988). This
revision contained general language on mining operations and spoil
placement. It specifically addressed the bonding costs for spoil
placement and dragline bench construction, among other activities, at
the lower end of the Wadge pit. These Technical Revision 14 costs
and calculations are reflected in Tab 13.
Volumetric calculations performed on existing contour information
(10-89) indicates the bond amount of $252,733 is sufficient to cover
reclamation costs in the East Wadge Extension Area (as of 10-89).
A revised contour map will be available for the area in question in the
neaz future. A volumetric calculation will again be performed to
ascertain if the current bond for that azea remains sufficient. This
subject will be addressed in the Annual Reclamation Report as
requested.
