A program called QtEickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the <br />first time. Future use of this or oNfer imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the softwaze. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase ~t be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with Nre .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files oa your computer that <br />will handle single and multi=page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Pichue <br />and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers <br />does work. DMG has determined that a program called "IrfaaView", which can be downloaded from LfanView.com, does work witlt <br />iluickView. After downloading "hianView", it needs to be configured as your default .Nfviewer. DMG does not support or endorse this <br />software and the licensing and registration are the trser's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"Imaging Preview^ and "Imaging for Windows". <br />Iustructtona: <br />1. Insert the CD into your computer. <br />2. Allow time for the CD to install. <br />3. Eject the 1:D from the computer. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. <br />5. You are ready to view Nre Permit Files. <br />NOTE: A program called QuickView Autom4 which rugs the QuickV iew <br />setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program <br />does NOT work, you will need to manually install the t2ltickView program. <br />Instnrctions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request <br />with the CD or can be viewed at www.miaine.state.co.us. <br />The Permit File document images can be viewed In the reception area of the DMC office or they can be purchased on a CD or <br />DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost covers the time and labor of making the CD.
