Long <br />Division Director <br />On April 22, 1993, the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board voted to revoke the mining <br />permit and forfeit the reclamation bond associated with the Trinidad Basin Mine in Las Animas <br />County, Colorado. Reclamation of the remaining unreclaimed mining-related disturbances will <br />be conducted by the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology. <br />The Division is contacting all surface owners who currently own land within the revoked permit <br />boundary who may desire to comment on the reclamation project. As part of our efforts to <br />contact all appropriate landowners, the Division would appreciate your verification of the <br />boundaries of your property. Records from the Las Animas County Assessor's Office indicate <br />that you own portions of the SEY. of the NE'/. of Section 15, T.31 S., R.65 W.; and portions <br />of the E''/z of the SEY. of Section 15, T.31 S., R.65 W. Please verify these records and <br />describe in greater detail which portions of these lands are owned by you. <br />Thank you for your cooperation.
