PLS <br />Common Name Scientific Name Variety Composition per acre <br />smooth brome Bromus inermis Manchar 40% 5.5 <br />timothy Phleum alpinum Climax 30 % .5 <br />orchard Dactylis glomerata Latar 30% 1.0 <br /> Total 7 lbs. <br />per acre <br />The existing plant community and reseeding recommendations obviously do not <br />fit into the Wetlands definition of "a prevalence of vegetation typically <br />adapted for life in saturated soil conditions." <br />Hopefully this explanation will resolve the question on the present method <br />of operation and a 404 Permit. It is surprising that these questions are <br />being brought up now rather than being resolved 2 years ago when the pit <br />was originally permitted. <br />The Rozman Pit is an old existing pit that has never been permitted. VALCO <br />is permitting it to continue in compliance.It is a straight forward thing <br />in a pasture area that should not create many problems. <br />Your help in receiving the necessary information is appreciated.
