This area, also referred to as the old placer
aggregate piles, is hereby considered withdrawn; however, a final
decision on the remaining application cannot be made until the
Forest Service trespass conflict is resolved.
You also indicated during a recent telephone conversation
that mining at the confluence or gravel harvest area is no longer
viable. Since the dike constructed in th18 area is unauthorized,
you may be required to remove it depending upon the Forest
Service decision and your mining intentions.
You are also reminded that any other parties interested in
the placer aggregate area may need to obtain a Department of the
Army permit before any work is initiated in this area. Please
contact Ms. Susan Nall at (303) 243-1199 if you have any
questions.
Sincerely,
Grady L.
