M-2003-037 <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG), by and through the Attorney General's <br />office, acting a staff to the Mined Land Reclamation Board (Board) in this matter, files <br />this "Further Response of Division of Minerals and Geology to Halderson and Sons, <br />Inc.'s (Haldorson) Petition for Reconsideration" (Further Response) regarding this <br />matter. <br />INTRODUCTION <br />DMG staff have already reviewed Haldorson's Petition for Reconsideration <br />(Petition) as it relates to the standard promulgated by the Board in Construction Materials <br />Rule 2.9.1(2). DMG filed its Response to Haldorson's Petition (Response)with this <br />Board prior to the Board's January 2003 hearing. In its Response, DMG concluded that <br />the additional information submitted with Haldorson's Petition regarding groundwater <br />levels at the proposed mining site constituted new information that merited <br />
