MLRD will perform the reclamation on
the area previously disturbed by GEC that is outside of the
area to be permitted by Energy Fuels. Upon agreement with
GEC, the portion remaining after such reclamation will be
used to bond the East Pit area as described in your letter.
The State understood that Energy Fuels will use its best
efforts to file an application to permit the East Pit by
February 16, 1990.
At our meeting we discussed the State's concern that the
Corley Company must give a prompt indication that it will
consent to a reclamation plan that calls for knocking down
the east high wall. Since such approval from Corley is cru-
cial to this agreement, we must receive some assurance from
the Corley Company no later than January 5, 1990.
