The revision would allow for construction of a
temporary road and lay down area north of the overland belt corridor and
working within the Williams Fork River for placement of the tube over the
river. Each will be discussed below and the appropriate pages and maps of
the text will be revised.
In reference to the temporary road and lay down area, the road and lay
down area are shown on Map IV-9 which is enclosed. The temporary road and
lay down area would be used only during this project and reclaimed upon
completion of same. It is anticipated the construction would be completed
by January 1, 1985, although this period could be e~ctended if delays are
encountered. The reclamation work would either occur this fall, if the
project is completed in time, or the spring or summer of 1985. If the
reclamation work is done during the summer the area will be seeded and
mulched during the fall.
The temporary road and part of the lay down area will be in the highway
right-of-way. Therefore, in addition to the approval letter received from
the Department of Highways, which is part of the existing permit, Empire
will obtain a Utility Permit from them for the construction activities.
Once this permit is obtained the Division will be forwarded a copy of
same.
mpir~~i Energy Corporation
PO BOx fiP CPaiG COLO a<00 di 626
4J]. d:+ 6Lfi
