Mr. Jim Stevens 5
asked him if the staff at the Zoning Department had given COM, Inc. permission to utilize the
Gold Hill Mill to process ore from mine sites other than those specifically designated in the
Cash mine permit application and the mil] construction building permit. Mr. Helmick has
informed me that no authorization has been given to anyone to convert the use of the Gold Hi]]
Mill permit so that it can be used to process imported ores. Mr. Helmick further stated that
the use of the Gold Hill Mill to process any ores not extracted from the same property would
be a violation of the Boulder County Zoning Ordinance regulations.
I would like to state that Gold Hill Ventures has no objection to COM, Inc. processing
ores brought to the Gold Hill Mill from other mining properties owned by Colina Oro Molina,
Inc., if the operators of the mill first obtain the necessary Boulder County Zoning Department
and Mined Land Reclamation Board approval. However, we do not approve of the ongoing
violations of the Boulder County Zoning regulations and the Colorado Mined Land
Reclamation Division permits, and request that the Mined Land Reclamation Board enforce
Colina Oro Molina, Inc.'s compliance with the existing terms and conditions of our mining
and reclamation permit.
Very truly yours,
Mazk A.
