Its
addition, 2've included a reference list of publications
which deal with some successful projects. If
you wish copies of any of these articles, let me know,
and I probably can find them in my files (someplace)?!
Conspicuous by their absence are Colorado/Climax
related projects and persons (Chuck Jackson, Larxy
Brown, etc.). Enough has been said about Urad
~ for the next 125 years as far as I'm concerned. It
was a good project, and Climax can pat itself on the
head as much as it wishes, but at 545,000/acre, I can
see some major economic and political problems with
straight technology transfer...!
I've included Ray Brown and Jeanne Chambers on th~= list
(USFS) since they have been around and have done
a tremendous amount of research on difficult tailing
reclamation projects. They're well worth talking to...
We're tentively scheduled for the Climax tour on
August 17 (when Fred Banta can make it). I'll
continue to work with Camille on this.
Have fun.
/~S. Lai ~ ~~ ; ~
~ c~ he ~ ~"
AMAX ass %s~
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES.
