(LEI) has requested that you release the permit application volumes
referenced above to their consultant, Jim Stover. Under the regulations of the Division of Minerals and
Geology (DMG), permit application filings and subsequent revision and renewal filings are to be
maintained at the courthouse for public review for timeframes specified in our regulations. The specified
review timeframes for the original Munger Canyon and McClane Canyon permit applications have long
since expired, and as such DMG does not object to the release of the permit application volumes to Mr.
Stover, in his capacity as consultant to LEi. The specific volumes in question are blue three ring binders,
Vol. I through Vll for Munger Canyon, and Vol. I through IV, for McClane Canyon.
Please contact me at (970)-242-5025 if you have any questions.
Sincere~ly~~
Dan T.
