Spe-
cial recognition is extended to two of your staff members, David Berry and Jim Stevens, for
the exemplary manner they conduct regulatory compliance at our mine site. Your staff is a
vital link in making mining operations and reclamation successful in Colorado.
Trapl~cr Ivline is proud of their reclamation performance and gratified to be identified as a
top quality coal mine operator in Colorado. Trapper will continue to implement a pro-
gram that goes beyond the minimal requirements of regulatory compliance. We will con-
tinue to develop and implement new reclamation technologies and practices and will
actively share in the exchange and transfer of the technology we have developed. Trapper
Mine actively promotes the concept of environmentally responsible coal mining and is
determined to erase any other public perception. Again on behalf of Trapper Mine, thank
yon.
Sincerely,
WA/jb
]JDE\CMLRDOI]
c G.M. Stubblefield
J.M. Mattern
W.
