I dont think that the public is aware of the fact that there
is two separate deeds that are recorded in the County Record-
ers Offioe that amount to approximatly 359.35 acres in these
strip miners names, One deed shows 326.35 acres in book ~8y1
on page ~ 327, end the other deed is recorded in book #852, on
page ff6tl3, and page #6tl4 for ~ additional scree,
The 359.35 acres were recorded on June dth of lyo7, and.the 33
acres were recorded on April 10th of lytl7,
The County Assessors Office shows on their Property Proof
Listing sheet that there is 0. 8 acres, and the additional
,00 acres which amounts to 6 tl acres that these strip
miners own in the Fishers Peak and Engleville area."
Are these strip miners planning to start with 2 acres, 20
acres, and then maybe they plan to strip mine the remainder
of the property that they have bought es time goes by?
It would be a shame to srtip mine the whole 336,48 acres
out of front of our Fishers Pe ax, and to destroy the old
coal mining town of Engleville, Does the public know that
while these strip miners have been eo~busy pouring their
cement for their 40ft, by 7U ft, proposed work shop, that
there are open mines which have been neglected for the sake
of progress again? These open mines pose a terrible danger
factor for small teenage backpackers and small children
which tend to explore into such dangerous places, and could
be entombed or crushed in these open mine shafts, which ere
in the strip miners arses and nearby? Do the adjoining land
owners want their beautiful surrounding land disfigured from
the ugly mess created by these strip miners?
