Are we the people <br />of this community expected to kneel before this sacrificial <br />alter of this strip miner like innocent lambs being led to <br />slaughter for the almighty dollar and totally destroy one of <br />the most outstanding and well preserved massive lava flows <br />found in the North American Continent? <br />The lava flow travels approximatley 00 miles from the Rocxy <br />Mountain Range to UKlahoma, Enaleville is now 112 ,years old, <br />In the year of lytl7 Engleville should have celebrated its <br />11Uth airthday, Fishers Peax or Haton Peak which is one of <br />the most awesome monuments for mqn to enjoy in it~a spec- <br />tacular beauty will in time be totally devastated by thls <br />breed of land butchers, We the public should protect every <br />existing structure and protect and preserve the heritage <br />that our forefathers had so relentesly fought Indians, <br />diseases, hardships, etc; so that the future gegerationa <br />could enjoy the sanction of freedom and saftey provided by <br />them for us now, i still thinK that it is up to the people <br />of our colorful conununlty to decide if we the residents of <br />the community want our beloved Fishers Peax and Engleville <br />destroyed or not. Even if Public Vote is necessary in order <br />to preserve these historical sites from any further destruct-. <br />-ion or damage, Another issue in this area is that no <br />attempt was made to cover up the exposed gas pipe line that <br />was supposed to be covered up and trees were to be trans- <br />-planted over it, but instead it was never taxen of. <br />Because of this neglegance we now have a permanent eyesore <br />scar that we see now jaggedly running down the face of our <br />
