The water right is for irrigation and domestic purposes. The <br />water is to be released to the shareholders of Farmers Irrigation Ditch <br />Company according to the number of shares held. One share of capital <br />stuck of the company represents 1/100 cfs of water, if the water is <br />available. If the water is not available (i.e. canals break, low water <br />ur nu water) nu water will be diverted. The irrigation season extends <br />from the 1st of April to the 1st of November. No water is to be discharged <br />other than during this time period. <br />Eastside Cual Company has addressed the Probable Hydrologic Impacts of the <br />mining operation un the water quality and quantity of the flow through <br />Harvey Gap. The analyses indicate no impact to either the quantity or <br />quality of the receiving waters. Six years of water monitoring have <br />shown nu impacts. <br />In October 1985, a copy of the capital stock of the Farmers Irrigation <br />Ditch Company issued to Eastside Coal Company was submitted to <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division. That document shows the <br />approved uses of the water: irrigation and domestic uses. <br />
