Computer requirements to nse the DMG document Imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QtticltView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on yow computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the fast time. Futme use of this or other imaging CD's does mt require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD ar DVD. 3. The CD wig contain files with the .tif exextension. Them needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on yow computer that will handle single and multi-page documema. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint' and they do not work with QttickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG bas detemtirted that a program called "LfanView", which can be downloaded from hi'anView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "[rfanView", it needs to be configured as yow default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's rbsponaibiliry. There arc many other programs that work ae well, such u "hnaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Inetructlons• 1. Insert the CD into yow computer. 2. Allow time for the CD totnatall. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Automn, which tuns the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Automn program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the flttickView program. Instntctions for manually installing QttickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minina.sffite.co.us. The Permit File document images can be viewed fu the receptlon area of the DMG office or they can be purchased oo a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase coat coven the time and labor of making the CD. DMG cannot provide computer related suooort.
