It is our position that milling ore imported from other mining sites constitutes custom
milling, which is an industrial use, and is therefore not permitted in the Forestry District. Engaging in
a use not permitted in designated zoning is a violation of the Boulder Counry Zoning Resolution.
Please note that we requested that COM Inc. provide copies of all future documents submitted to the
Division of Minerals and Geology that provide information on the location of the sources of all ore
processed at the Gold Hill Mill. Since we have no way of being certain that COM Inc. will honor our
request, or that they will notify us that they intend not to, we aze requesting that you provide copies of
these documents.
Sincerely,

G
Mazk Sprt
Zoning Inspector
Sandy Hume
County Commissloner
Ronald K.
