Mathias pit must have been in operation prior to county
regulations because I cannot find a file and I was told that it has definitely been
there since the 80's, anyway, Mr. Fletcher stated to me that Mathias uses Daniel
Road (a residential road) which creates dust till hell wouldn't have it no more and
that Mathias Concrete has not and will not take into consideration the residential
aspect of being a good neighbor, dust abatement is and better yet paving that road
would be just great...
I have like I said tried to find a file for this pit to see if the Commissioner's when it
was approved if they had approved it with any provisions. 1. Dust abatement
2. Speed ect. But, it must be one of those "grandfathered" items that I can add to
my list.
Are there any regulations that need to be followed by State Standards? I would
hope that Mathias Concrete is permitted through the State and that there are rules
and regulations he would need to follow, and can I on a county level, even though
