Computer requirement to uae the DMG document Imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called lZtrickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on yow computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or otlter imaging CD's does not require a new insallaton of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the De drive. A DVD drive will read a CD ar DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif exextension. There needs to bean image viewing application for .df files on yow computer that will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picmm and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewtt that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG has determined that a program called "ErfanV iew", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QrtickView. After downloading "[rfenView", it needs to be configured as yow default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such ae 'Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". [nstructlons• 1. Insert the CD into your computer. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You ere ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autonm, which tons the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Automn program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QttickView program. Instmctions for manuaily instilling QttickView are available upon request wilt the CD or can be viewed at www.minin¢.sbte.co.w. The Permit Fite document images eap be viewed in the receptlon area of the DMG office or they caa be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase cost coven the time and labor of making the CD. DMG cannot provide computer related support.
