As your name was the fast of the <br />nineteen signatures that we could read clearly, we have written to you directly. We would <br />appreciate you informing the other petitioners of this letter. <br />We understand from your letter that you have two main concerns. The fast is with gases, <br />fumes, and smoke from tLVCks driving along Highway 12. The second is with coal dropping <br />from these trucks onto Highway 12. <br />Our Division does not regulate vehicle emissions, or materials falling from trucks onto State <br />Highways. For concerns regarding vehicle emissions, we suggest you contact the <br />Air Pollution Control Division of the Colorado Department of Health at (303) 392-3100. <br />For concerns regarding materials falling from trncks onto State Highways, we recommend <br />you contact the Colorado State Patrol office in Trinidad at (719) 846-2227. <br />Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.
