The United States of America. acting through the Director of the Office of
Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSMRE) or his delegate and the
State/Tribe named above acting through its designated agency mutually agree,
pursuant to the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977, P. L.
95-87, U.S.C. S1?O1 et seq., to amend the above referenced cooperative
agreement dated o6/2~3/9o
The specific terms and conditions of the amendment are as follows:
Amend the subject agreement for an additional S'),26t) .f,or a slighC protect overun
of 4 Percent. The overrun was due to uirau~iciyated problems and a very hazardous
ebandnnad drill k~ole, as outlined in the attackied OSM-51. Thin amendment will
bring thG total cost of the protect to 583,260.
This amendment takes effect at the time of signing by the Director, OSMRE, or
his authorized delegate and applies to the entire cooperative agreement period
unless otherwise stated above. In all other respects the agreement of which
this is an amendment shall remain in full force and effect.
