NORTHWEST COLORADO CONSULTANTS, INC. <br />Project: Haul Road Y-A <br />Location: Hayden, Colorado <br />Client: Seneca Coal Company <br />Work Performed: <br />Project No.: 95-2384 <br />Report No.: 4 <br />AUG 2 2 RECD <br />Date: 8/14/95 <br />Time: 2.0 <br />M1leage: 34 <br />EngrJTech: JK <br />As requested, we visited the project site and conducted nuclear density test No.'s 14 through 18 on the material <br />being placed for subgrade fill. <br />At the time of our visit, the contractor continued to cut material from Sta. 4+00 to Sta. 6+50 and place and compact <br />the material from Sta. 0+00 to Sta. 2+00. <br />Remarks: <br />The material tested generally met project specifications with moisture contents being within 3% of optimum. New <br />material was discovered when taking test No.'s 16-18 between Sta. 7+00 and Sta. 9+00. A sample of this material <br />(Sample #2) was obtained and returned to our laboratory for Standard Proctorand classification testing. <br />Please refer to the attached sheet for results of totlay's testing. <br />Verbal Discussions: <br />Chuck McCulloh of Seneca Coal Co. was notified of today's test results. <br />
