The Board heard all of the evidence and determined
that a mining permit should be issued to Weld County.
The law provides a remedy for persons who wish to seek ju-
dicial review of a final order of a state agency. Those
seeking review may file a civil action in District Court
within 30 days after agency action becomes final. C.R.S.
1973 24-4-106 (4) (Supp. 1980). It is my understanding that
no such action has been filed by you.
If you have proof that the county is operating in violation
of its permit, please furnish it to the Mined Land Reclama-
tion Division.
In your letter you assert that crimes have been committed
by members of the D7ined Land Reclamation Division. Please
understand that such charges are of the utmost seriousness.
If you have proof, you should submit it to the Denver District
Attorney so that he may prosecute. If you do not have proof,
you should be aware, for your own protection, that there are
laws which protect people against slander, libel and defamation
of character.
Very truly yours,
LEW•'ldh
cc: Thomas David, Esq.
David Shelton +
Dan W.Corson Esq.
-~ ~~~
L US E.
