Permit
(See attached survey
coPY)
Dear Don:
I have been awaiting documents from Marv Adams of Western
Coal which I have not yet received, so my letter may not recite
all of my client's concerns.
Dale Parker, whom I represent, wishes to formally object to
the proposed extraction of a "Test Panel" under his property.
Mr, Parker believes that due to the extremely shallow depth
damages to his surface rights would be irreparable. The "test
panel" will be directly under a proposed site for Mr. Parker's
home, and his information is that it would be impractical to
engineer a foundation to adequately support a home after
extraction,
Further, the area of the test panels is prime agricultural
land, and according to his information and belief, after sub-
sidence due to extraction the surface could never be returned
to the same quality that exists now,
For any permit hearing or protest period, Mr. Parker
desires formal notice, through me, so that he may more fully
present his position,
