EXHIBIT A TO COAL LEASE
(Poor Daughter's Coal Company, Inc./National King Coal, Inc.)
The Coal Lease to which this Exhibit is appended pertains to the
property located in La Plata County, Colorado more particularly described as
follows:
Township 35 North, Range 11 .West, N.Pi.P.M., La Plata County, Colorado:
Section 29: S{V} SEi,
Section 32: W; NE}, NE} N{Y}, and a tract of land lying and
being in the NW} NW} more particularly described as follows,
to-wit:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said Section 32,
thence running south along the west line of said Section 32
a distance of 900 feet; thence running in an easterly
direction on a line parallel with the north line of said
Section 32, a distance of 300 feet; thence running in a
southerly direction on a line parallel with the westerly line
of said Section 32 a distance of 260 feet; thence in an
easterly direction along a line parallel with the north line
of said Section 32 a distance of 1,020 feet to the easterly
boundary line of the NW} NW} of said Section 32; thence
northerly along said easterly boundary line of said NW}

Section 32; thence in a westerly direction along said north
