O X B O m p O m E R C O R P O R x T 1 0 Also in commercial operation in the U.S. are two of Oxbow's geothermal projects, the 62 MW Dixie Valley and ] 7 MW Beowawe pleats in Nevada, both serving customers in California; the Dixie Valley Project via the lunges privately held high voltage transmission line in the U.S. Active internationally since 1994, Oxbow brought the 47 MW Mindanao I Geothermal Project into commercial operation in 1997, serving customers in the Philippines. Oxbow's precede:tt- breaking financing for the Mindanao I Geothermal Project led to the Project being r°_cognized by lndependenr Energy tnagazine• as one of the world's top 6 independent power projects in 1995. Other Oxbow projects nearing, completion include the 48 MW Mindanao II Geothermal project in the Philigpirres and the 27 tdW Miravalles III Project in Costa Rica. Mindanao II, ettrrently under constuct;on, will enter corttmercial operation in April 1999. More recetaly, Oxbow completed firrancino in September, 1998 for the Miravalles III project, Costa Rim's first BOT power project. Miravalles III is under consanetion and will enter service in early 2000_ Oxbow Power Services provides operations and maintensace, asset management, environmental compliance and geologic and :ngineering support for existing and new Oxbow projects.
