BOX 1886 WOODLAND PARK, COLORADO 80866 <br />April 26, 1993 <br />John Buckner <br />2516 Waldean Street <br />Colorado Springs, CO. 80909-4015 <br />RE: Conditional Use Permit - Mining Activities: Portions of <br />Sections 2, 3, 34, and 35, Townships 11 and 12S , Range 71 <br />West <br />Dear Mr. Buckner; <br />This letter is to advise you, that on April 22, 1993, the <br />Teller County Board of County Commissioners met to consider your <br />request for a Conditional Use Permit for a Mining Activity, which <br />would allow you to extract crystals from your unpatented mining <br />claims, located in the above noted area, on National Forest land. <br />After a careful review of your application, and related <br />information, the Board did approve your request as presented. <br />I would note that mining conditional use permits are valid for <br />the life of the operation, as long as you provide copies to this <br />office, of the annual report required by the Mined Land Reclamation <br />Board. If no annual reports are submitted, the permit is valid for <br />a three year period. <br />Should you have any questions on this letter, the Board's <br />actions, or if I may be of any further assistance to you, please <br />feel free to call upon me. <br />Sir ly, <br />Kevin I.
