We stated in our
"Annual Fee Invoice and Report Request" that "No Mining is planned for this gravel pit in
1997". We should have stated that the activity in the gravel pit is limited to occasional
hauling of existing material from stock piles at this time. The last submitted map correctly
depicts the current affected acreage.
We understand that the Construction Rules and Regulations Section 1.13 states
that if an operation ceases production for a period of 180 days of more, the operator must
file a Notice of Temporary cessation.
Sorry about the confusion and I hope this letter clears this matter. If you have any
questions, please call me at (970) 242-8134. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Stephen J. tehurst
Parkerson Construction, Inc.
