A program called QuiclrView will 6e copied to the CD and moat be installed on yow computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Futuro use of this or other imaging CD's daas not require s new inatalladon of the sottwero. 2. The CD or DVD that you purohase m tt be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD wig contain files with rho .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tlf files on yow computer that will handle single and mniti-page documems. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The hnaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG has determined that a program called "hfanView", which can be downloaded fiom hfmView.com, dace work with QuickView. After downbading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as yow default .tif viewer. DMG does not support w endorse this software and the licensing and regiattation ere the user's r2eponability. There are many other programs that work ae well, such as "Imaging Preview" and'7maging for Windows". Inatruetlons• 1. meat the CD into yow computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the wmputer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You rue ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called /ZuickViaw Autotun, which tuna the QuickView scrap program, has aka been copied to this CD. If the Autumn program dos NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program.
