<br />-3- <br /> <br />Stipulation #12: Justification for proposed woody plant density level <br />success criteria. MLRD is requesting a justification for the levels <br />proposed. Optimally, this justification will include citations from <br />pertinent literature. WRD will provide this discussion. <br />Stipulation #13: Method/means for evaluation of woody plant density and <br />species diversity on reclaimed areas. MLRD and WRD discussed current <br />thinking on acceptable evaluation methods for density and diversity. WRD <br />will submit a discussion addressing this topic. <br />Stipulation #14: Annual revegetation monitoring proyram. MLRD proposed <br />that monitoring include the following: 3-5 cover transects, 2-3 <br />representative production quadrats, one representative woody plant <br />density transect, and a discussion of diversity trends. WRD will be <br />proposing a program. Additionally, MLRD will be evaluating the <br />requirement for annual monitoring at Munger Canyon and biennial <br />monitoring at McClane Canyon. <br />Document No. 1523E <br />
