Re: Minor asphalt spill at Par on's Woodring Pit -DMG Permit # M-19723-323

Mr. Humphries,
Enclosed is a copy of my spill report fora 20 to 25 gallon accidental spill of liquid AC at
a United Companies asphalt plant currently operating at the Woodring Pit. The spill did
not have any environmental effects as the oil cools quickly and this pit is high and dry.
The two workers arms burns received medical treatment right away.
I contacted Russ Means at the Grand Junction DMG office and told him what happened.
His office will get a copy of this report as will the other agencies shown on the report.
This event never should have happened.
