Computer requirements to rase the DRM3 document imaging CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QtrickView will be copied to the CD and mtat be installed on your computer in order to use a DAMS imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does >mt require a new installation of the sotlware. 2. The CD or DYD that you purchase must be in the Dt drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and mriti-page documents. On a Windows XP corttl3uter, the default viewing progtarrts are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paim" and they do not work with QtrickView. The Imaging Viewer that cornea with pre-Windows XP computers dcea work. DAMS has dete3mined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. ARer downloading "ItfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DAMS does not support or endorse this soRware and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are mtany other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Instructiona• 1. ert the CD into your computer. Allow tithe for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD iuto the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called t2uickView Autorvn, which rune the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autoivn program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minin¢.state.co.us.
