A progttttn called tZuickYiew will be copied to the CD and anrat be installed on your cortlputer in order to use a DBMS imaging CD the fast time. Funne use of this or other imaging CD's does not requite a Dew installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase ag S be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. Thera needs to be an iamge viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle aimgle and multi-page docllmenp. OD a Windows XP computer, the default viewing pro~ama are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewed' or "Paint" and they n w with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that cornea with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DBMS has determined that a program called "hfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "htanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DBMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There arc many other programs that work ea well, such as "ImagiDg Preview' and "Imaging for Windows". Instructloma• 1. tY the CD into ytnlr computer. Allow tip for the CD ro install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Filee. NOTE: A program called t2uickView Autonm, which runs the QuickVuw setup program, has also been copied to this CD.
