A <br /> monitoring program is to be conducted by a professional acoustics consultant <br /> at the applicant' s expense. The monitoring site is to be located immediately <br /> behind the property known as 1230 Chambers Drive. The monitoring procedure <br /> is to be as proposed on page 4 of the December 2, 1981 letter from <br /> Charles M. Salter Associates. Additional monitoring as spot checks and <br /> in response to any complaints will be done by County staff with the <br /> assistance of qualified City of Boulder or Boulder County personnel . Initial <br /> scraping operations for the removal of topsoil or overburden in a new <br /> mining area will be exempt from the noise level standard, subject to the <br /> condition that the applicants conduct the operations as efficiently as <br /> possible to minimize the lengths of time that these operations are being <br /> conducted. <br /> GRG/cld <br />
