An application for a fourth permit renewal was submitted by WFC on September 25, 2002. The <br />Division on March 18, 2003 wrote a Proposed Decision and Findings of Compliance for Permit <br />Renewal No. 4. A permit renewal was approved with no stipulations on March 25, 2003, for <br />another five-year term. The permit area at the time of Permit Renewal No. 4 was 98.62 acres at <br />Mine 1 and 823.56 acres at mine 2, all of which is privately owned. <br />There have been no Notices of Violation issued since the last permit renewal. There have been <br />no bond releases approved since the last permit renewal.
