.. ~ <br />Sharon Sealy May 7, 1997 <br />Re: Delta County Road 4405 <br />After looking at the two small parcels of land marked on their topo <br />map, approximately a mile east of Hubbard Park, I suggested to the <br />five archaeologists that it would be best if they backed their <br />pickup down off the rockfall debris, turned the pickup around, all <br />climb in, go back to Paonia, take the Stevens Gulch Road to the <br />Electric Mountain Lodge, and ask further directions from there, <br />especially since even if they managed to get past the large slide <br />in front of them, the road no longer existed approximately one-half <br />mile beyond the Forest Service boundary to the north. Although <br />they were on two wheels, about to roll over on the way out through <br />the slump, the last I saw of them they appeared to be travelling <br />safely west on Old State Highway 133. <br />Sincerely, <br />Thomas C.
