Areas which may be disturbed by this activity include; previously
undisturbed vegetation, possibly an old road. This will occur a road to the
drill pad will pass through both reclaimed and previously undisturbed areas.
In a phone conversation with Vern Pfannenstiel, Steve Renner noted that
Peabody is totally liable for disturbance on the mine site.
Also noted:
1. Runoff from the drilling area must be contained in the 004 pond or
alternative sediment control must be established.
2. This is not a small area exemption.
3. This is a technical revision.
4. There will be a bond increase.
5. Peabody is ultimately responsible for the disturbance.
/v j r
7384E
423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203 Tel. (303) 866-3567
