A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your rgmputer in order to use a DMCr imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new insutllation of the software. p, The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: rive. A DVD drive will road a CD ox DVD. 3. The GD wi.ll contain files with the ,tif extension. Theis needs to he an image viewing application For .tif files on your compuur that will handle single and mul[i-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing progrnms are called "Windows Ficmre and Fax Viewer" or "Paine' and they do not ggrk, with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG has determined that a program called "IdenView", which can be downloaded from irfanView.COm, does work with QuickView, After downloading "Irfari View", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and. registration aze the user s responsibility. There aze many other programs that work a9 well, Such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Instructions; I , insen the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the compuer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the cotttputer. S. You are ready to view the Permit Files.
