6. CLAIMS <br />4/02/90 <br />Any claim by the CONTRACTOR arising by virtue of this purchase order contract <br />which is not disposed of by agreemeirt shall be submitted in writing, together <br />with any written and oral evidence in support thereof, to the OWNER for <br />decision. Before making a decision the OWNER shall notify the CONTRACIOR that <br />any additional written and/or oral evidence in support of the claim may be <br />presented to the OWNER within thirty (30) days from receipt by the CONTRACTOR <br />of such notification, or within such further period of time as may be granted <br />by the OWNER. The OWNER shall make his decision in writing and mail or <br />otherwise furnish a signed copy thereof to the CONTRACTOR. Pending the <br />decision of the OWNER, the CONTRACTOR shall proceed diligently with the <br />performance of this purchase order contract. <br />27. CLEANUP <br />The CONTRACTOR shall at all times keep the construction area free from <br />accumulations of waste material or rubbish resulting from his work. Upon <br />completion of the work, the CONTRACTOR shall remove from the vicinity of the <br />work and haul to a county approved disposal site all rubbish, trash, garbage, <br />and debris resulting from his work. Additionally, the CONTRACTOR shall remove <br />from the vicinity all unused materials, and the like, belonging to the <br />CONTRACTOR or used under the CONTRACTOR'S direction during construction. <br />Cleanup is subject to the approval of the PROJECT MANAGER. <br />28. LIENS <br />No Mechanic's lien lies against a publicly owned building in the State of <br />Colorado. However, as will appear below, unsatisfied creditors for labor <br />and/or material of the CONTRACTOR of such a building are by law provided <br />certain security. <br />30. PERIODIC PARTIAL PAYMENTS <br />If the time for completion of the work is more than one month, the CONTRACTOR <br />may requisition and receive monthly progress payments in the amount of ninety <br />percent of the value of the work completed to date less the total of such <br />previous payments, if the CONTRACTOR is satisfactorily performing the <br />contract. The CONTRACTOR must submit his Social Security Number or Federal <br />Employer Identification Number with his initial bill. <br />MlRO-11 <br />
