You have
provided a letter from Gundle Lining Construction Corp. which manufactured and installed
the liner which states: "We (Gundle) certify that Gundle VLDPE will maintain design
expectations fora 3 to 4 month exposure period. Our material warranty on the VLDPE for
exposed application is one year."
The Division has also contacted Poly-flex polyethylene geomembrane manufactures and
confirmed the exposure durations.
This time the Division grants the change in exposure from 14 days to 90 days. However,
every effort must be made to cover the liner as soon as it is deployed.
If you have additional questions or concerns please contact Berhan Keffelew.
S' L. rely, ~ /~~~
Bruce Humphries
Minerals Program Supervisor
cc: Berhan Keffelew, CMG
Carl Mount, DMG
M:\OSS\~,m\ V LDPE.bk
