Box 117 <br />Paonia, Colorado 81428 <br />Re: Dust Concerns Raised at the Kuretich Orchards, Terror Creek Loadout, <br />Permit No. C-83-059 <br />Dear Mr. Chilton: <br />I would like to acknowledge receipt of your letter of November 5, 1985 and to <br />thank you for taking the time to respond to MLRD concerning this problem. <br />Your letter was quite informative. We will take your comments into <br />consideration when dealing with this problem in the future. <br />I also want to make it clear that MLRD has not found your operation to be in <br />violation of any air quality requirements. To date, our inspections have <br />recorded the fact that you are practicing dust control measures. However, as <br />I am sure you are aware, MLRD must respond to all citizen complaints to the <br />best of our ability as long as the complaint appears valid. Attached is a <br />copy of our response to Mr. Kuretich concerning his complaint. <br />It is my hope that with the assistance of the Air Pollution Control Division <br />we can confirm the actual extent of damage, source of dust, and mitigate any <br />impacts to the satisfation of all parties. <br />Thank you for your cooperation. <br />Sincere y, _ _ <br />R//obert G.
