Please describe in full and complete detail the
hydrology consequences which are occurring as a result of
the faulty casing on the exhaust shaft whereby the
well is pumping 20 gallons of water per minute from the
ground.
Has Basin done any longwall mining under my property on
the north side of Highway 12? If so, please identify the
location of said mining by providing me with a copy of the
appropriate map indicating same, the depth of the mining,
the amount of coal removed and the permit number allowing
the mining.
Please advise the present status of the Cease and
Desist Order issued on August 29, 1994.
Please provide copies of the following:
a. Copies of the permit applications for the Golden
Eagle and New Elk mines;
b. Copy(s) of the application for Succession of
Operator for both facilities;
c. Copy of Basin's response to your November 5, 1993,
letter;
