Lung <br />RE: 1994 Grassy Gap Weed Spraying Project owislnn otrean~ <br />Dear Sir or Madam: <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology is soliciting bids for a weed spraying project at the Grassy Gap <br />Coal Mine. The silo is located approximately 7 miles south of the Hayden Power Plant in Routt County. <br />+ Spray the road corridor ditches, including all cut and fill slopes, of approximately 5.5 miles of road, both <br />sides. <br />* Chemical selection should be consistent to control the primary target weed Holmdstongue. <br />+ Spraying must be done at the optimum lime (considering weather) during the month of May. <br />* Bid should include cost of all labor, equipment, and chemicals. <br />* Bid should also include an hourly rate for additional spraying (over and above total job bid) which will <br />be aulhoriud by Project Manager approval only. <br />If any interested bidders require apre-bid visit to the site, late April will probably be the earliest access to the <br />entire site due to snow cover. <br />If you are interested or would like additional information, please contact Keut Gorham at the Division of Minerals <br />and Geology, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Deuver, Colorado 80203;(303} 866-3567.
