Checking our files it appears that your operation does not have a
permit for reclamation under the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act, Article
32 of Title 34 C.R.S., as amended in 1976. As you well know session Laws,
H.B. 1065 34-32-109 states, any operator proposing to engage in mining operation
must first obtain from the Board a permit to conduct a mining operation.
Please fill out the enclosed forms for a limited operation as you did for the
Burl Pit, II80-83.
Please do this as quickly as possible since you are operating illegally at the
present time.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely yours,
James L.
