A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the <br />fast time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the softwaze. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive.. A DVD drive will read a CD or D VD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single a~ multi=page documents. ' On a Windows 3CP computer, ffie default viewing programs aze called "Windows Picture <br />and-Fax Viewer" m "Paint" and th8ydo not work an`th~rck~w: The rmagmg Viewer~t [af Domes with pre-Win3ows XP computers <br />does work. DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with <br />QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this <br />softwaze and the licensing and registration aze the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"]waging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". <br />Instructions• <br />1. Insert the CD into your computer. <br />2. Allow time for the CD to install. <br />3. Eject the CD from the computer. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. <br />5. You aze ready to view the Pem,it Files. <br />NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which mns the QuickView <br />setup ptogram, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program <br />does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. <br />Instructions for manually installing QuickView aze available upon request <br />with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us. <br />The Permlt File document images can be viewed in the reception area of the DMG office or they can be purchased on a CD or <br />DVD.-The CDJDVD purchase cost covers the time and labor of making the CD.
