Box 928
Meeker, CO 81641
Re: Bonanza Power Project
Coal Transportation System
Right-of-Way Application: Supporting Facilities
to Conveyor System
Dear Dave:
Attached for your review is a right-of-way application for
ancillary utilities and facilities necessary for the operation
of the overland conveyor (R.O.W. C-30119) and rail loadout area
(R.O.W. C-31639). This application is in response to BLM's re-
quest that Western Fuels permit major ancillary components re-
quisite to the operations of the coal transportation system.
Western Fuels is particularly interested in the timely
review of the 13.8 kv power line and telephone cable portions
of this right-of-way application. Engineering drawings EE-10A-1
through lOH-1 show the powerline alignment adjacent to the
conveyor maintenance access road. The installation of the power-
line will not require new surface disturbance within the existing
conveyor right-of-way limits.
Also attached for your review are three additional drawings:
1) Telephone Cable Location (E (D)-5), 2) Water Piping Details
(EM-15C-6), and 3) Water Piping Arrangement Conveyor System Plan
(EA1-15B-7). All other drawings were previously submitted as part
of the R.O.W. C-30119 application.
