The proposed maximum weight of explosives to be detonated within
the average 8 millisecond period is as follows: -
Distance (ft) from Pc'.~
the shot to Dorchester's GEC Proposed to ~+^~~ ~,k
Fuel Facilities Maximum ANFO (lb) use (lb/delay)
200 26 24 Z•~~'
300 60 54 Z•~~'
400 100 90 ~•~
500 160 150 2 , IT
Per the recommendation by VME Nitro-Consult, Inc., GEC has arranged
one set of siesmographic instruments to continue monitoring the blasting
from round to round. Should any unreasonable blasting take place, GEC
will immediately inform the State to secure the blasting technique and
safety precautions required to be allowed to proceed with the proposed
blasting plans.
~Ver truly ou s,
L.K.
