Shelton <br />Director <br />September 28, 1981 <br />Mr. lienery Southway <br />Southway Construction Co. <br />117 White Pine Drive <br />Alamosa, Colorado 81101 <br />RE: Garrett Pit - Our file no. 78-271 <br />Dear Mr. Southway: <br />In response to the call from your wife, I am enclosing the following items <br />for your use in converting your limited impact, 110 permit for the above <br />captioned operation into a regular, 112 permit (affecting 10 acres or more): <br />I) A copy of the~112 permit application form (from which copies can be <br />made, since 9 copies of the application must be sent to our Division); <br />2) A copy of Rade Orell's adequacy letter of August 29, 1978 to Scott <br />Johnson; and 3) A copy of Scott Johnson's reply to Rade of September 12, <br />1978, including the revised map of the permit area. The cross hatched area <br />was to be excluded from the permit area. Green as in the original was <br />added by me. <br />I presume that you have a copy of our Rules and Regulations. If you do not, <br />please send our Division a request for a copy and a check for' 52.00 made out <br />to "Mined Land Reclamation". <br />The requirements for a 112 permit application are somewhat more extensive <br />and complex than those for a 110 permit. Please review Rule 2 carefully to <br />help you in preparing the 110 to 112 conversion application.
