I contacted the
fourteen companies attending the pre-bid meeting by phone this
morning. I told them their bid package or a follow up submittal
needs to include:
1. documentation that the blasting supervisor has a minimum
of five years experience supervising the loading and firing
of charges, as specified in Amendment No. 1 to the bid
document,
2. documentation that all personnel working with explosives
will be certified and licensed, as requried by law,
3. a minimum of three references of similar work (i.e.,
structural demolition with explosives) by the company in the
past five years, and
4. a written acknowledgement that DMG contacted them
today to clarify the three points above.
L'
1 V
~~~`~
